  • At least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • A relevant bachelor's or master's degree in finance or economics with demonstrated academic achievement.
  • Prior experience in asset management or financial services, preferably across multiple asset classes and investment disciplines.
  • At least 6 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Proficient understanding of wealth management, the investment management industry, and asset classes including equity, fixed income, and alternatives.
  • Ability to understand the link between data, client needs, and its application to the bigger picture.
  • Proven organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills capable of influencing diverse audiences.
  • High self-motivation, ownership, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal, organizational, business communication, and time management skills.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Strong logical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and third-party tools such as Bloomberg, Morningstar, and Lipper.

Responsibilities
  • Develop asset allocation solutions for institutional clients based on the Investment Policy Statement and the Strategic Research Group's asset-class views.
  • Prepare monthly or quarterly portfolio evaluation reports for defined contribution, defined benefit, OCIO, endowment, and foundation portfolios, detailing market performance, investment results, style exposures, and portfolio rebalancing recommendations.
  • Prepare quarterly manager commentary by assessing fund or investment-strategy performance and linking it to market and economic developments and the investment process of asset managers.
  • Recommend managers for client searches and selections across US and global equity, fixed income, multi-asset, inflation, real estate, and ESG strategies by assessing investment teams, investment processes, risk management, factor and style exposures using Style Analytics, and fees.
  • Review and amend investment policy statements.
  • Author research papers on the macroeconomic and microeconomic environment and investment-industry trends.
  • Provide research support for client requests involving ESG, style analysis, and asset-class trends.
  • Lead and manage end-to-end operations to ensure seamless delivery of reports and projects.
  • Manage projects, work allocation, real-time capacity, peer review, and team training and development.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to build relationships for service delivery management.
  • Act as the anchor for strategic projects and provide direction to the team.
  • Prepare and manage key performance indicators and handle escalations.
  • Participate in defining strategic priorities for the business.
  • Focus on new capability development and branding initiatives.
  • Lead people-engagement and team knowledge-development initiatives and ensure adherence to compliance policies and organizational imperatives.
  • Drive process-improvement initiatives and deliver results aligned with business priorities.
