Requirements
  • Seven to ten years of experience applying user experience design best practices, including deep expertise in mobile-first, responsive, and multi-platform design.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Consulting and/or digital product agency experience is required, with a proven ability to manage client expectations and adapt to diverse client environments.
  • Proven experience leading digital product concepting from problem framing through high-fidelity execution.
  • A strong foundation in user-centered design, design thinking, and human-centered research methods.
  • Hands-on proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, FigJam, and Adobe XD, plus familiarity with artificial-intelligence-assisted design and research tools.
  • Experience planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative research, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, A/B testing, and heuristic evaluation.
  • Ability to synthesize ambiguous and conflicting inputs into clear design direction and concrete recommendations.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, including experience presenting design concepts and rationale to clients and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to work directly with clients to gather detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet their needs and vision.
  • Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and work effectively in a team setting, synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
  • Understanding of business drivers and the ability to work across research, design, and strategy.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, contextual inquiry, and usability testing, and synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights.
  • Facilitate design-thinking workshops, journey-mapping sessions, and stakeholder-alignment activities with client teams.
  • Translate research into sitemaps, user flows, service blueprints, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Design and iterate on interaction patterns and visual solutions using Figma, FigJam, and artificial-intelligence-assisted design and prototyping tools.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and content strategists to define product functionality and ensure feasible, cohesive experiences.
  • Apply and advocate for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 and inclusive design practices throughout the design process.
  • Conduct usability and A/B testing on key interface elements, including calls to action, navigation, forms, landing pages, and banners, and iterate based on findings.
  • Contribute to and help maintain design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency across client products.
  • Track user experience trends, emerging tools, and competitor products, and bring current best practices to client engagements.
  • Present design rationale, research findings, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
