Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced engineer to help build our platform to enable our technology for real world applications. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the all-in-one development platform for Robotics. You will work on seamlessly integrating cutting-edge components across Simulation, Machine Learning, and Robotics into a cloud-based platform that will be served and used at a large scale.
This is a fully in-person role located in the Seattle area.
Software Engineer - Full Stack Development Responsibilities
Lead the development and deployment of full-stack solutions for a robust and scalable development platform for Robotics hosted on the cloud.
Collaborate with the Simulation, Robot and Machine Learning teams to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components.
Implement best practices for security, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Independently drive continuous improvement in performance, scalability, and reliability for a platform expected to serve a large user base.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of full-time software development experience.
Proficiency in Java, C++, Go, or Rust, and expertise in TypeScript or JavaScript within React.
Knowledge of best practices for developing production grade systems:
Frontend, backend, and database security
Continuous development, testing, deployment, and monitoring cycles
Understanding of networking and distributed system concepts and best practices
Proven experience in developing products or platforms that have served users at a large scale.
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Deep functional knowledge of a major cloud hosted platform like Azure, AWS, GCP etc.
Experience with Kubernetes and running scalable services across distributed systems.
Working knowledge of resources needed for workloads like video streaming, distributed machine learning inference, and large-scale robot data collection and storage
Experience working with sensitive data and adhering to strict security protocols.
