Senior Multi Cloud Engineer

Title: Platform Developer, Sr. (Multi-Cloud)
Location: Hybrid (Must be located within a 120-mile radius of Charlottesville, VA | Hybrid 4 – 6 times per month)
Clearance: Active Tops Secret (SCI Eligible)

About this role:

• Rackner is seeking a Platform Developer that will be responsible for setting up networking connections between Azure and an on prem environment and also to the AWS cloud
• Containerization, automation and scripting of infrastructure as code, configuration and integration of services, monitoring, and stability of the management infrastructure. 
• Develops hardened machine images (e.g. Azure VM), ensures STIG compliance, and custom services to facilitate security inheritance.

Requirements:

• 7 years; software development experience building software solutions using Azure in a secure environment (Python / Bash preferred) 
• 6 months; provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment using automation and tools such as terraform
• 2+ years; Working with Platform as a Service technologies such as Kubernetes
• 1+ year; Deploying and working with Azure Landing Zones, implementing and developing Azure policies, command-line interfaces, network technologies including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
• Operating with AWS
• Compliance with DoDD 8570.01-M IA certifications; IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as Security + and a cloud service provider certification

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related area of study. 6 years of experience implementing IT systems may substitute for academic degree.
• Updated Azure / AWS Cert.
• AWS Direct Connect.
• AWS Networking
