• Delivering high quality tax compliance services to our growing customer base
• Supporting our customers with expert tax guidance, particularly in the state tax area
• Facilitating the preparation and review of corporate income tax returns, and the accurate, timely filing of tax forms
• Finding and implementing opportunities for process and program improvement
• Building internal tax assets and documentation to streamline tax preparation, and enable sales, onboarding, bookkeeping, and customer success functions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Masters in Taxation is a plus
• CPA license is required
• 4-6 years previous experience in tax at a public accounting firm or corporate tax department is required
• State tax specialist experience, including experience with preparing and reviewing business income tax returns. Experience with sales tax, payroll tax, and other state and local reporting requirements is a plus. 
• Excellent problem solving, project management and communication skills

The base pay range target for the role seniority described in this job description is $112,000 - $152,000 in San Francisco, CA. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular positions are eligible for equity, 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits; some of these benefits may be available for part-time or temporary positions.
