We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IP Product leader to join our team, focused on managing subsystem and system IP products with expertise in Arm, RISC-V, x86, or system IPs. As an IP Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and success of our IP products across various architectures. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, licensing, finance, marketing, and sales, to ensure the delivery of world-class IP solutions that meet customer requirements and drive business growth.
This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for subsystem and system IP products, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, opportunities, and industry trends related to system and subsystem IPs.
- Define product requirements, features, and roadmaps based on customer feedback, market insights, and latest technology developments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to drive product development, providing clear specifications and overseeing the process.
- Partner with sales and marketing to create go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and product positioning to maximize market penetration and revenue.
- Develop strong relationships with key partners, to ensure access to the latest technologies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver product documentations, marketing materials, datasheets, and benchmark analysis.
- Work with third-party solution providers to build comprehensive compute subsystems and engage with open-source ecosystems for a robust software strategy.
- Act as a product evangelist, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to showcase the value proposition of our subsystem and system IP products.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong engineering background with hands-on engineering experience in compute systems.
- Proven experience in product management roles, specifically with IP products and architectures such as Arm, RISC-V, x86, or system IPs and relevant AI technologies used in Inference and Training applications.
- Strong understanding of the semiconductor industry, Compute and Accelerator IP market dynamics (especially in Automotive, Server, HPC), and related technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to large audiences.
- Familiarity with industry standards, licensing models, and legal aspects related to IP products.
Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
