Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a mid-level HR operations role
  • Experience with Workday and HR Service Now required
  • Deep knowledge of HR processes and best practices, with a focus on employee lifecycle management, third-party workforce management, global mobility, and immigration
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions, including those related to employee and contingent workforce, global mobility, and visa sponsorships
  • Analytical mindset skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and improve processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to build strong professional relationships at all levels of the organization
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the oversight and management of lifecycle events, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding for both Blackstone employee and Third-Party workforce
  • Develop and implement standardized processes and policies to ensure consistency, efficiency, and a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Partner with HR business partners and other stakeholders to address complex employee lifecycle events and resolve escalations effectively
  • Continuously evaluate and improve lifecycle processes to align with organizational goals and employee needs
  • Develop and implement frameworks for managing third-party workers, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and business leaders to ensure proper classification, onboarding, and offboarding of third-party workers
  • Monitor and mitigate risks associated with third-party workforce management, including compliance with labor laws and contractor agreements
  • Assist with the oversight and management of global mobility and immigration processes, ensuring compliance with international employment laws and visa requirements
  • In coordination with the Global Mobility lead, develop and implement policies and procedures to support employee relocations, international assignments, and visa sponsorships
  • Manage complex global mobility cases and ensure seamless employee transitions
  • Provide strategic guidance to leadership on global mobility trends, challenges, and opportunities to support business growth and talent strategy
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies across all jurisdictions where the company operates within North America
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation to meet legal and regulatory requirements, including audits and reporting
  • Monitor changes in employment laws and regulations, proactively updating processes and advising leadership on potential impacts
  • Drive process improvements and standardization to ensure HR operations are scalable and aligned with the company’s growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of HR operations with other business processes
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR data governance and data quality
  • Assist in the leadership of the HR Operations team who are responsible for employee lifecycle management, third-party workforce processes, global mobility, and compliance
  • Foster a professional culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the HR operations team
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance the skills and expertise of team members
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other HR functions to ensure seamless delivery of HR services
  • Collaborate with Legal, Internal Audit, Procurement, and IT to align HR operations with broader organizational goals and compliance requirements
  • Build strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure HR operations meet the needs of employees, third-party workers, and the business
  • Collaborate with the People Analytics team to leverage data insights and inform strategic decision-making
  • Use data to evaluate employee lifecycle events, global mobility processes, and third-party workforce management to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency
  • Provide leadership with actionable insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis to enhance the employee experience and support organizational goals
