  • 10+ years experience on a program management, with at least more than 2 product lifecycles
  • BS in Engineering or similar technical degree required
  • Masters Degree (Preferred)
  • Launch experience on a vehicle program
  • DRE experience
  • Exposure to multiple functional areas
  • Vehicle integration or calibration experience
  • Appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with internal and external partners
  • Understanding of engineering theory and principles of operation of mechanical/electrical systems
  • Technical and professional skills in job-related area required
  • Able to work efficiently under high amount of work/stress
  • Specific knowledge of engineering discipline (e.g. mechanics, physics, metallurgy, manufacturing methods, electronics, software, control systems) within job-related area
  • High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and complex

Responsibilities
  • Delivery of a vehicle program to quality, cost, timing and commercial requirements
  • Ensure effective decision making and risk management across all functions at Rivian
  • Alignment of product definition across vehicles on the platform including price, volume, and COGS targets
  • Creation and tracking of product lifecycle including concept, development, market entry plan, manufacturing locations, updates, and core supply strategies based on stakeholder inputs
  • Platform budget management across programs on the platform
  • Lead cross functional issue resolution and remove roadblocks internally and externally
  • Work in conjunction with Product Development leadership to drive world-class product capabilities at an accelerated pace, including aligning on technology roadmap integration into programs
  • On-site leadership at assembly plant, critical suppliers, key partners, or test sites wherever needed
  • Main escalation path to ELT for risk to program execution, responsible to ELT to bring product strategy to life
