Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, economics, statistics, public health, or a comparable program with a quantitative emphasis. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 4+ years professional SAS experience, including data step programming, PROC SQL, macros and statistical procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of medical claims, pharmacy, eligibility, provider, and clinical data preferably in a managed care, Medicaid, Medicare, or health plan setting.
  • Strong understanding of health care quality measures, risk adjustment, and value base payment models.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects leveraging strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong skills in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with other data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Translate complex health care data into actionable insights to drive healthcare quality and efficiency.
  • Perform data manipulations and statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Conduct analysis to support Shared Savings and other key improvement programs.
  • Assist with the design, development, and maintenance of the Analytic DataMart including quality checks, identifying data issues, and working with partners to create solutions.
  • Work with clinical and IT teams to operationalize analytic and reporting innovations.
  • Complete a variety of clinical and financial client ad hoc analyses in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Support the development and evaluation of value-based care models and strategies supporting safety net providers.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree preferred.
