About the role
This position that will support Special Projects team, which is requested by the different LNRS Business Units. This position will support multiple assigned projects to deliver Business and Technical solutions that meet quality and strategic target. Project Manage and coordinate small projects.
Responsibilities
• Independently gathers, interprets, and analyze large complex data sets, presents findings/conclusions, and presents recommendations to senior leadership.
• Takes initiatives and proactively identifies areas for business process improvements, develops solutions.
• Partner and lead various meetings with multi-department stakeholders to gather business requirement and detailed specifications in order to develop Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Independent judgment and initiative to review, analyze and develop solutions for operations and reporting requirements. Identify and quantify the business impact of those solutions.
• Create and execute test plans (both manual and automated) based on business requirements for traceability and instruct test resources on proper procedures to ensure team compliance
• Build workflow charts and diagrams; studying system functions; writing specifications
• Preparing documentation/specifications, such as, Business Requirements Document, RAID Log, different Process flows diagrams, Decision Tree, Gap analysis documentation, Cause-Effect diagram, Process Analysis Matrix, User Acceptance Testing criteria and scripts, Data Analysis Matrix and others as required
• Communicating and working with Technology to translate Business requirements into Technical specifications and solutions
• Preparing documentation/specifications, such as, Business Requirements Document, RAID Log, different Process flows diagrams, Decision Tree, Gap analysis documentation, Cause-Effect diagram, Process Analysis Matrix, User Acceptance Testing criteria and scripts, Data Analysis Matrix and others as required
• Providing project management and coordination for small size projects. Ensure overall project plan effectiveness, address any significant fluctuations, and ensure timely issue resolution
• Develops business process and documentation related to various aspects and supports various new initiatives. Ensures implementation and completion of various projects and directs efforts of others to assist in project completion.
• Makes recommendation to resolve and drives implementation of corrective action.
• Developing support documentation such as training material or testing scripts
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required or 8-10 of equivalent experience
• 8+ years project management experience
• Should have robust knowledge of agile delivery models, waterfall process, etc.
• Have thorough knowledge and utilize various project tracking tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, Visio, etc.
• Strong understanding of Change Management
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across a highly matrixed organization, interacting, and influencing effectively with peers and management
• Results-oriented outlook with the ability to prioritize
• Strong knowledge with MS Office, JIRA, Sharepoint and/or project planning software preferred
