Requirements
  • A university degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, ideally within an agency or internal marketing department.
  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets, for budget tracking and managing planning tools.
  • A solid understanding of the Canadian media landscape and advertising products.
  • The ability to evaluate strategic scenarios and develop innovative, competitive plans.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • The ability to manage priorities with rigorous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced French reading, speaking, and writing proficiency.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze media opportunities and select appropriate media partners.
  • Help establish spend targets.
  • Evaluate opportunity costs and make recommendations.
  • Participate in partner meetings.
  • Assess the feasibility of creative concepts with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Request proposals from traditional and digital media partners.
  • Review incoming proposals.
  • Negotiate approved placements and finalize agreements.
  • Collaborate with the media planning team.
  • Traffic campaigns within the CM360 ad server.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure creative assets are delivered in required formats and on schedule.
  • Deliver creative assets to media partners to meet production deadlines.
  • Manage relationships with local media partners.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external partners.
  • Communicate variations in media plan execution to the planning team and media partners.
  • Work with media partners to optimize placements and achieve campaign goals.
  • Assist with budget tracking and invoice reconciliation for direct buys.
  • Oversee contract workflows and administrative follow-through for media agreements.
  • Review invoices and contracts in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Consolidate media buys to ensure annual investment targets are met.
  • Prepare post-buy reports to measure campaign performance and impact.
  • Share performance results and present strategic recommendations.
  • Stay informed about market trends and opportunities and share key insights with internal teams.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency with the CM360 ad server.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
