nCino and Dun & Bradstreet partner to cut $14.7K client onboarding costs for banks

nCino and Dun & Bradstreet have announced a strategic alliance to integrate D&B's Commercial Graph into nCino's Client Lifecycle Management solution. The integration provides financial institutions with verified business identity and risk data covering more than 650 million global entities, backed by 107 billion monthly data quality checks. A survey of 409 bankers found that six of nine core KYC/KYB steps still involve significant manual work, with 66% of banks asking customers to provide the same information multiple times. Banks spend an average of $14,700 onboarding each client. The partnership enables institutions to capture D&B data once and reuse it across the commercial relationship, from onboarding through loan origination to ongoing monitoring. The integration will launch later this year for EMEA-region institutions.

According to D&B, the plugin can scale review capacity by up to 20 times whilst reducing unsupported outputs. Dun & Bradstreet launches AI credit workflows on Databricks, avoiding $6M in bad debt

Dun & Bradstreet has launched agentic credit and portfolio management workflows through the Databricks Marketplace and OpenSharing. In one anonymised portfolio example, the workflows improved bad capture rate from 30% to approximately 38%, avoiding more than $6 million in incremental bad debt. The workflows enable faster credit origination through single-prompt business verification, adaptive credit policy optimisation, and portfolio risk monitoring. The system uses the D-U-N-S Number identifier to provide business context for AI agents. "Finance leaders are under pressure to move faster, support growth and manage risk with greater precision," said Scott Spencer, general manager for finance and credit at Dun & Bradstreet. The workflows allow tasks that typically take analysts days or weeks to be completed in seconds.
