- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move approximately 60 lbs.
- Responsible for new equipment installation.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair Hamilton equipment.
- Report problems and perform root cause analysis on instrument failures.
- Regular commute to and from customer sites with ability to navigate within the region. Must follow traffic laws and correctly route themselves, ensuring on-time arrival at customer site.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from a regionally accredited, not-for-profit university preferred.
- Or the equivalent combination of an Associates, Vocational, Technical/Trade, or equivalent degree/certificate and at least two years of technical experience working in an electronic/electrical engineering environment with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electronics, electrical, mechanical, and computer systems.
- Experience in automation or similar field is preferred.

The partnership will integrate Takara Bio's SMART-Seq library preparation kits with Hamilton's Microlab STAR Liquid Handling Systems.
