Requirements
  • Currently pursuing an MBA at an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Strategy, Finance, or related major
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship. This is a 10-week, hybrid-work consulting internship taking place from June 5th, 2023-August 11th, 2023
Responsibilities
  • Identifying and analyzing strategic targets to assist in the development of strategic rationale for acquisitions and investments and how they fit into the corporate strategy
  • Support and coordinate the due diligence process
  • Contribute to the development of financial rationale, including pro forma combination models, accretion/dilution analysis, views of transaction synergies and synergy achievement costs, and various analyses including discounted cash flows
  • Analyze financial statements to develop clear and concise presentations for an executive audience
  • Contribute to the deal process by outlining investment opportunities, including strategic fit, financial return, risk, and profile, etc
  • Perform evaluation analysis on financial model projections
  • Monitor, track, and research potential strategic investments through industry landscape analysis and company profiling
  • Support ad-hoc projects on an as needed basis
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, Investment Banking Analysis, Corporate Development or Transaction Services is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
  • Excellent Public Speaking and Presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products
