Job Summary:

The Central Pharmacy Manager at Vanderbilt University Hospital (VUH) is responsible for oversight of day shift operations within the Central Pharmacy and works collaboratively to enhance delivery of pharmacy services.

JOB SUMMARY
Leads the pharmacy team in the coordination, monitoring and supervision of pharmacy services the department. This includes human resources, medication systems and pharmaceutical care to insure the provision of quality patient focused care that meets all Federal, State and local laws and regulations. Plans and develops customer focused pharmacy systems and services for specific area to meet the changing needs of the medical enterprise. Works with administrative team and staff to constantly innovate the method for delivery of quality cost effective pharmacy services. Manages and develops staff members to insure competency and growth of staff. Manages budget including volumes, drug & personnel expense for a specific area.
