- Duties include access control, emergency response coordination, and the documentation of suspicious activities, safety hazards, and policy violations.
- Utilizes de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed practices to reduce harm and support a therapeutic care environment.
- Acts as an ambassador of security and safety, providing courteous, visible, and helpful presence across all areas of the facility supporting a Culture of Excellence.
- Provides direct support during incidents, including assisting with the management of disruptive or violent individuals.
- Works collaboratively with internal departments and external law enforcement to ensure a timely and appropriate resolution to security concerns.
- Performs other security related duties as assigned to support the safety and operational needs of the medical center.
- Criminal justice, security, or customer service-related experience - Preferred.
- Conductive Energy Device Certification (Taser 7 or equivalent) - Preferred.
