The Pets Table is on a mission to reimagine pet food, one bowl at a time. We believe there’s a better way to feed our good boys and girls. A way that gives every pet - the long-haired, the short-legged, and the spotted alike - a seat at the table, with healthy recipes developed with vets and made from wholesome ingredients that humans trust.

We’re a new brand within the HelloFresh Group which launched in 2023 in the US. We’re incubated within the HelloFresh Group meaning we have the space to operate as a start up whilst also having the many benefits of being part of a larger organization. We’re looking to scale rapidly, to disrupt the pet food industry and to help pawrents improve their furry family members’ well being.

Job Description:

The Pets Table Strategy Senior Manager will be the first hire in the strategy team and will be responsible for delivering on high-impact strategic projects as well as supporting strategy development and implementation. You will work with team members across The Pets Table team including working closely with the C Level of The Pets Table. You will be a highly capable problem solver, strong at data analytics, able to steer stakeholders across the team and enjoy implementing different ideas.

You will ...

• Own the implementation of different strategic projects from planning through to implementation
• Support & drive the annual strategy & OKR setting processes
• Support as needed in program managing the overall strategic plan
• Complete analysis on the market and competitors
• Drive customer insights & surveys as needed
• Build complex models and tools in excel or g-sheets
• Complete complex or simple analyses, from figuring out how best to complete analysis to deriving insights
• Complete regular reporting on various metrics
• Calculate business cases for various initiatives
• Be empowered and have a strong voice to contribute new ideas for the business
• Own certain business functions and topics as needed e.g. retention
• Support the CEO on ad hoc tasks
• Partner closely with members across The Pets Table and HelloFresh Group
• Help us build an exciting new pet care vertical within the HelloFresh Group
• Contribute to our mission of helping pets live a happier, healthier life by changing the way they eat!

At a minimum, you have...

• Experience in strategy development in the consumer goods or ecommerce industry or consulting
• Experience managing & implementing complex projects in a hands-on analytical environment
• Knowledge of the pet food industry is not essential but is beneficial
• Experience developing complex analytical models and analyzing large datasets
• Excellent presentation, communication (oral & written), and relationship building skills, across all levels of management
• A desire to be part of a fast paced growth journey for our brand
• Ideally have a passion for pets and pet products
