Configuration and Data Management Specialist

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience supporting Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) activities in space, ground, software, and hardware systems for Major Defense Acquisition Programs
- Experience identifying, analyzing, and reporting impacts to the technical baseline through technical reports and impact assessments, and recommending solutions, mitigation, alternatives, and corrective actions at control board meetings
- Experience developing and managing program documents IAW Government-directed control board actions, including Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Program Specs, Data Acquisition Lists (DALs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Specification Change Notices (SCN), and Interface Requirements Notices (IRN)
- Experience developing, documenting, and executing a Lean-Agile CM process to manage the technical baseline at all integration levels
- Ability to develop and maintain a government repository of all ICDs, Engineering Memos, Requirements Documents, and Sec Trees from all stakeholders, that will be available across the Remote Sensing Capability Areas
- Ability to facilitate, manage, brief, and participate in government and program engineering review boards (ERB) and change control boards (CCBs) such as program level CCB meetings, ERB meetings, and all working group meetings
- Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of program milestones, including Functional and Physical Configuration Audits
- Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with space-based remote sensing systems
- Experience using a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
- Experience working with large amounts of data
- Experience using metrics to improve processes and ensure consistency and standardization across the organization
- Experience planning and executing program reviews throughout the life cycle of the system
- Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master’s degree
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
- Configuration Management Training Foundation (CMTF) CICM Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
