We are seeking a highly organized and diligent professional to join our Canadian Retirement Product team as a Compliance Program Manager. This role will be responsible for project coordination and prioritization activities while ensuring the consistent tracking and management of deliverables regionally. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of project management principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Position Responsibilities:
Project Control:
- Lead the intake and tracking of mandatory, regulatory and legislative related projects, initiatives, and improvements for Canadian Retirement teams.
- Supervising the backlog and work in progress through the Manulife work management tools, and continually maintaining the objectives and outcomes
- Lead all aspects of and coordinate the prioritization of work across Manulife’s Canadian Retirement functional areas and lead accordingly.
- Act as the liaison between compliance teams, business stakeholders and IT partners to communicate and negotiate prioritized work that requires technical resources.
- Monitor project progress, supervise key performance indicators, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in creating business requirements and support project documentation management, ensuring accuracy, version control, and adherence to standards.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Gather, analyze, and interpret project data to build reports, dashboards, and visualizations. Prepare regular updates that highlight important data, potential risks, and challenges.
- Collaborate with team members to define reporting requirements and provide accurate, timely project information.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, work with project teams to streamline workflows, and continuously monitor and improve project controls and processes.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years Project Management experience in financial services, compliance or management experience.
- College/University Degree and/or equivalent experience
- Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry with an advanced understanding of the Company’s businesses.

$78,975.00 CAD - $142,155.00 CAD
