Requirements
- 4-8 years' experience in Automobile industry is a must working with various, MRP, ERP and MES systems
- 3 years minimum in supervisory role
- Engineering Degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Electric or Computer science) or MBA in operation management
- Working knowledge in SQL, Excel, Word, Power point, and Outlook programs
- Strong leadership skills, experience managing multiple teams preferred
- Ability to set tasks and responsibilities

- Strong team orientation and cross functional attitude
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as governmental regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Responsibilities
- Manage/ lead setting up of schedules for Battery, Drive unit and DC/FC shops
- Responsible over the propulsion scheduling teams for all vehicle models , ensuring adherence to the defined scheduling scope and on site production support during operating hours. Scope involves, active participation for suggestions , complaints, training , attendance, overtime and vacation
- Responsible for build ratio, sequences and management of overall buffer in and outside the factory
- Responsible for maintaining shiftily, daily and weekly reporting for defined KPI's. Ensuring that cross-shift communication is handed off succinctly
- Work with program teams on forecasted cross plant requirements and fulfilments activities
- Ownership of latest part cut ins , new program launches , change in revisions and maintenance of application matrix
- Work with ERP systems on full shop implementation and find solution, document and align with cross functional teams in the absence of such system
- Will require to be part of the daily stand up meetings to discuss tactical level plan and execution
- Will require to perform daily line walks and provide support to the Production and Production Control teams
- Work with supply chain teams to ensure the demand signals are matching official plan
- Risk mitigation and propose deviated plan with minimal impact and communicate risks to all involved stakeholders
- Work with IT teams to close out open issues and root cause analysis, creating a pareto for various occurrences
- Responsible for setting up SOP for Propulsion scheduling process and strict adherence with necessary documentation
- Manage monthly and quarterly performance review with all direct reports and provide constructive feedback and guidance for progression to respective career goals
- Teaches, plans, and implements the Rivian Production and Quality Network with emphasis on the five core principles
