Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least three years’ supervisory experience in the construction industry with some solar experience preferred.
  • Previous experience managing multiple projects.
  • Experience implementing quality control/quality assurance processes.
  • Demonstrated Safe Working Practices and knowledge of OSHA safety standards. OSHA 30 Training preferred.
  • Understanding of construction math.
  • Success at managing and delivering construction projects on schedule and under budget.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate employees.
  • Experience supervising and managing subcontractors in other trades.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace preferred.
  • Experience and comfort level working on roofs.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure that project schedules and planning timelines are met.
  • Manage the activities of projects to ensure that the construction schedules are met.
  • Plan, direct and coordinate activities of projects to ensure that goals/objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters.
  • Supervise the solar installation teams to ensure that the installations are done to required specifications.
  • Direct and manage multiple sites, employees and contractors.
  • Manage field technician activities and training.
  • Manage complex electrical installation and repairs.
  • Supervise and motivate a variety of field personnel involved in the installation of solar projects.
  • Drive continuous improvements for safety, quality, customer service and production through field operations.
