At PosiGen, we are passionate about providing money saving solar energy and energy efficiency solutions for people of all income levels. We are seeking an equally passionate Field Operations Manager. The Field Operations Manager oversees Solar Installation Technicians and Foremen. This individual will manage, direct, plan and coordinate activities of projects for the assigned location to ensure the goals/objectives are met in the prescribed time frame and budget.

Essential Job Functions

• Ensure that project schedules and planning timelines are met. 
• Manage the activities of projects to ensure that the construction schedules are met.
• Plan, direct and coordinate activities of projects to ensure that goals/objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters. 
• Supervise the solar installation teams to ensure that the installations are done to required specifications.  
• Direct and manage multiple sites, employees and contractors. 
• Manage field technician activities and training.
• Manage complex electrical installation and repairs. 
• Supervise and motivate a variety of field personnel involved in the installation of solar projects. 
• Drive continuous improvements for safety, quality, customer service and production through field operations.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent work experience. 
• At least three years’ supervisory experience in the construction industry with some solar experience preferred.
• Previous experience managing multiple projects.   
• Experience implementing quality control/quality assurance processes. 
• Demonstrated Safe Working Practices and knowledge of OSHA safety standards. OSHA 30 Training preferred. 
• Understanding of construction math.
• Success at managing and delivering construction projects on schedule and under budget. 
• Proven ability to manage and motivate employees. 
• Experience supervising and managing subcontractors in other trades .
• Proficiency with Google Workspace preferred.
• Experience and comfort level working on roofs.
