JTCMHC is looking for compassionate, dedicated Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals to provide short-term crisis response, stabilization, and intervention to adults. The program is intended to serve as an alternative treatment setting for those who require immediate (same-day) intervention but do not require the services of an emergency room. The candidate for this position will provide assessment, short-term counseling, crisis management, and collaborative crisis planning for solution-focused outcomes, as well as referrals for follow-up services and treatment, via telemedicine, phone, and in-person visits. Candidates should be knowledgeable about community resources and capable of building and maintaining strong community coalitions. This position can be virtual or in-person, as an employee or a contractor.

Additional Compensation: Along with our great benefits we also offer additional compensation for working outside of normal business hours! These shift differentials are stacked on top of your base pay when working evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field; and must be a practitioner with a license to practice in the state issued by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology; Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, LADC/MH)
Under Supervision: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field; and must be actively and regularly receiving board approved supervision, and extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician if board’s supervision requirement is met by the individual is not yet licensed, to become licensed by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology; Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. About us: Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center in Lawton, Altus and Duncan, OK is a community-based center with a primary focus on mental health and substance abuse treatment. The inpatient and outpatient services they provide include special groups and programs for adolescents, persons with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, seniors and older adults, women, men, and criminal justice groups.
Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing: Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
