We are seeking a creative Social Content Intern to help create video content for Duolingo’s social media presence on TikTok and Instagram Reels. As a core member of our growing marketing team, you are someone who lives on the For You Page and loves creating content that engages, entertains, and inspires.

What you’ll do...

• Create entertaining, iconic content for Duolingo’s social media that people want to share.
• Conceptualize, script, produce, and shoot video content for our social channels, primarily TikTok and Instagram Reels, in partnership with our Social Media Manager.
• Be the voice of Duolingo on social media through comments and community management, tapping into the pulse of culture.
• Evolve our TikTok and Reels strategy with an eye towards quantitative analysis: run lots of content experiments and iterate on the ones that work.

What we’re looking for…

• A bachelor’s degree by spring 2024
• Ideally a social media internship at another major brand or organization
• In-tune with social trends, even before they hit; ability to respond ASAP to trends/memes to capitalize on those opportunities
• Solid interpersonal skills and passion for engaging with our social media communities
• Ability to relocate to and work in Pittsburgh, PA

Exceptional Candidates:

• Have video production experience and be intimately familiar with in-app creator tools across social platforms
• Speak multiple languages
