Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing day-to-day nursing operations within the facility.
• Ensure the highest standards of care are consistently maintained in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure quality care delivery.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for the nursing team.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans to meet the individual needs of residents.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in ensuring ongoing compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support and facilitate staff training and development to ensure ongoing professional growth and high standards of practice.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current and valid nursing license.
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and nursing practices in a post-acute care environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• A compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
