Requirements
  • Knowledge of mechanical or chemical engineering, design, and manufacturing principles, with liquid processing preferred.
  • A minimum of two or more years of experience in process engineering, chemical engineering, or related fields.
  • Industrial experience in chemical manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution or equivalent experience is required.
Responsibilities
  • Design and specify pumps, valves, and chemical processing equipment.
  • Serve as project manager on small-sized projects, coordinating with various roles and departments to accomplish project goals.
  • Provide technical support for assigned projects.
  • Assist in equipment troubleshooting and continuous plant improvement processes.
  • Implement system modifications under current Good Manufacturing Practice change control.
  • Support qualification and validation projects.
  • Manage and execute assigned projects from firm leadership, coordinating with end users, vendors, contractors, and others to deliver results on time and within budget.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Food and Drug Administration-regulated industry utilizing current Good Manufacturing Practice processes.
  • Professional Engineer registration or the ability to obtain it.
