  • Bachelor’s degree in related Engineering field
  • Related experience in the HVACR industry
  • Self-motivated with excellent time and task management skills
  • Ability to work within an environment with deadlines while having to multi-task with changing priorities
  • Ability to interact effectively with others in a team environment
  • Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • Experience in Healthcare Design a plus
Responsibilities
  • Perform load calculations for projects
  • Design and plan layouts of equipment, duct and piping systems
  • Drive the development of HVAC design from the initial concept through construction drawings utilizing Revit
  • Application engineering including but not limited to Sequence of Operations, load calculations, psychometrics, and refrigeration
  • Engages in several levels of field engineering, assisting with project execution, trade coordination, and document management
  • Understand code requirements
  • Perform internal turnover meetings to identify project scope, risks, resource requirements, communications, schedule, and budgets
  • Collaborate with preconstruction department to ensure project bid scope is developed into design documents
  • Collaborate with operations department to ensure a shared understanding of project scope and overall project execution
  • Drive quality control through on site project visits and punch list creation
