Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Physics from an accredited university or institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior relevant internship or research experience in antenna design, analysis, optimization, fabrication, and test.
  • Familiarity with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools such as CST or HFSS.
  • Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for antenna designs from initial concept through requirements definition, topology selection, detailed design, analysis, optimization, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and in-orbit support of Cesium's products.
  • Work will include many aspects of phased array communication systems, including RF front-ends, filters, beamformers, power dividers, and phased array antennas.
  • Daily tasks might include researching literature, full wave simulation of RF structures, antenna elements and antenna arrays.
  • Perform analytical calculations of antenna and phased array performance, optimizing designs for performance and manufacturability, and provide detailed documentation of designs.
  • Present engineering design review materials to our customers and internal teams.
