Responsibilities
  • Shape and execute the strategic vision for all RIS web applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Oversee the development and implementation of web strategies to disseminate economic content, including educational materials, historical documents, and time series data, with a focus on accessibility and audience engagement.
  • Establish and manage strategic partnerships with organizations such as the Census Bureau, Board of Governors, and World Bank. Deliver cost-recovery projects that enhance platforms like FRED that mutually benefit the Bank, the external partner, and end user.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for applications, including cloud migration, technical architecture, and web application enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership on key technical decisions while maintaining responsibility for the applications’ security posture and operational integrity.
  • Directly lead two teams (10 members) and provide matrixed oversight for the work of 15-20 IT professionals, ensuring alignment, engagement, and retention. Drive measurable outcomes such as increased website sessions, faster feature delivery, and reduced technical debt while fostering a culture of innovation and professional development.
