  • A high school diploma, military service, trade school certification, or degree is required.
  • At least five years of experience with HVAC building automation systems is required.
  • Niagara N4 certification is required.
  • A strong understanding of BACnet protocol, with some LonWorks and Modbus experience, is required.
  • Good computer skills and familiarity with IP networks are required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and/or an on-call schedule as needed is required.
  • Proficiency in reading plans, submittal drawings, and wiring diagrams is required.
  • Experience using various hand and power tools is required.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving history is required.
  • The employee must be able to work in a field environment at multiple customer sites daily.
  • The employee must be able to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds.
  • The employee must be able to climb, balance, stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required.
  • The employee must have the vision abilities necessary for close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, focusing on facilities and owner clients.
  • Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure proper system functionality.
  • Identify and report opportunities for advanced building-operations and energy-saving solutions.
  • Create and modify graphics and Niagara programming.
  • Perform service repairs, replacements, adjustments, and calibration on system components.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and peers.
  • Perform checkout, system start-up, and commissioning on projects and existing system additions.
  • Mentor and assist peers as required.
  • Communicate issues, statuses, and resolutions clearly with customers and other involved parties.
  • Work autonomously through most tasks while maintaining high-quality and professional work.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Honeywell Webs is a plus.
  • Familiarity with other control systems is desirable.
  • Occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
