Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in release engineering, software development, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of release processes, including CI/CD pipelines, versioning strategies, and release branching models.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and interact with customers.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain reliable testing frameworks and automation tools for early issue detection. Ensure component tests are well-supported, with robust infrastructure and consistent quality checks.
  • Oversee integration and compatibility of upstream open-source changes. Contribute to upstream projects and manage processes to minimize technical debt.
  • Design and optimize CI/CD workflows for seamless integration, testing, and deployment. Streamline processes to enhance reliability and developer efficiency.
  • Create dashboards and automated reporting tools to track metrics like developer productivity, code quality, and testing results. Use insights to optimize workflows and codebase robustness.
  • Automate task management, issue tracking, and pull request workflows. Enable reminders and updates to reduce manual overhead.
  • Support scalable infrastructure, create onboarding materials, and improve tools to enhance developer productivity and efficiency.
  • Coordinate release cycles, automate QA workflows, and ensure robust validation processes for product rollouts.
  • Automate tracking and updates for dependencies, including Metal repos, to ensure compatibility and reduce risks.
