Responsibilities
  • Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework.
  • Gain a financial commitment from patients to start the dentistry diagnosed by the Dentist.
  • Achieve proficiency in the PDS system and use its tools, skills, and capabilities to help patients make decisions suited to their wants and needs.
  • Execute the Healthcare Coordinator handoff in partnership with each clinician for every examination patient.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on available financial options and provide patients with choices that fit their budgets.
  • Professionally overcome common patient objections to starting treatment.
  • Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations before patients complete treatment when required.
  • Ensure the office exemplifies the Comprehensive Care Model and manages referrals outside the office.
  • Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings.
  • Understand business imperatives and how the role directly impacts metrics and results.
  • Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS brand by making decisions consistent with the PDS brand framework.
  • Become knowledgeable about the Mouth Body Connection and support clinical excellence through comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies and address others professionally and respectfully.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and state, federal, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business.
