Responsibilities
  • Develop, communicate, and leverage a strategic vision aligned with company, market, and local plans to direct facility operations and the management team.
  • Supervise and provide development opportunities for management and hourly associates, including recruiting, hiring, training, mentoring, succession planning, duty assignment, performance evaluation, recognition, and workplace belonging initiatives.
  • Uphold the company's Open Door Policy by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, applying resources, teaching consistent responsiveness, and resolving associate concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by maintaining relationships with officials, holding associates and managers accountable, interpreting reports, monitoring asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality standards, overseeing reviews, and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Lead community outreach and involvement programs, maintain relationships with community stakeholders and media, represent the company externally, and support company-sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts.
  • Drive facility financial performance by achieving sales and profit goals, monitoring key performance indicators, controlling expenses, improving productivity, forecasting budgets, and analyzing economic trends and community needs.
  • Direct customer-service standards and resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines.
  • Drive facility sales through merchandising, pricing, signing, replenishment, inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of external, customer, and associate indicators.
