Healthy Living, Redding is looking for a Behavioral Health Nurse who organizes and directs home care services and is experienced in nursing, with emphasis on behavioral health and psychiatric diagnoses as well as community health education/experience.
Pay beginning at $56-$60/hour
Ideal background includes:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. One to two years of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting.
- Current licensure in State, BLS hands-on CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with one to three years of home health care experience.
- Management experience not required. Responsible for supervising home health aides.
- Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; nursing skills per competency checklist.
- Prolonged or considerable walking or standing. Able to lift, position or transfer patients. Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling or crouching. Visual acuity and hearing to perform required nursing skills.
Travel – This is a traveling position. Must maintain a valid driver’s license, active auto insurance meeting state minimum requirements and an operational vehicle.
