Healthy Living, Redding is looking for a Behavioral Health Nurse who organizes and directs home care services and is experienced in nursing, with emphasis on behavioral health and psychiatric diagnoses as well as community health education/experience.

Pay beginning at $56-$60/hour

Ideal background includes:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. One to two years of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting.
Current licensure in State, BLS hands-on CPR certification.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, with one to three years of home health care experience.
Management experience not required. Responsible for supervising home health aides.
Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; nursing skills per competency checklist.
Prolonged or considerable walking or standing. Able to lift, position or transfer patients. Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling or crouching. Visual acuity and hearing to perform required nursing skills.

Travel – This is a traveling position. Must maintain a valid driver’s license, active auto insurance meeting state minimum requirements and an operational vehicle.
