  • 7+ years as a Senior Product Manager/Product Manager on SaaS enterprise life science products and/or data products or platforms with complex infrastructures
  • A PhD in biology (or a related field) and/or experience and knowledge of Biological Sciences (e.g., Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, etc.) or equivalent, would be a very strong asset in this role
  • A proven track record in bringing clarity to a complex domain and driving alignment between product teams, and the rest of the company
  • Successfully taken new features from conception through launch to adoption, engagement, and retention
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes over outputs
  • Strong problem-solving skills - can deal with ambiguity, lead discovery efforts, prioritize, and lead execution of objectives, ensuring they ladder up to key strategies
  • A data-informed decision-making process, can identify new opportunities and provide sound reasoning for strategy decisions from that data
  • Experience working directly with highly technical team members
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to and execute the strategic vision in key product areas that spread across our product portfolio, including further innovation and optimization of the existing features and functionality
  • Identify major product gaps, and work with the different product cross-functional teams to incorporate them into our product roadmap and execution plans
  • Proactively surface and resolving conflicts/bottlenecks
  • Independently execute across all areas of the product life cycle (research, concept, user stories, development, rollout, adoption, utilization, customer impact)
  • Build strong working relationships with cross-functional partners including scientists, developers, designers, UX researchers, project managers, and product managers across numerous product areas to ensure alignment
  • Partner with Product Leadership to foster the growth of other individual contributors on the product team, through inspiration and coaching. Help define, develop, and optimize best practices in Product Management, as well as serve as a mentor to PMs
  • Define, measure, and report key product metrics to demonstrate the value created by the team
  • Act as the voice of the customer, and ensure customer feedback is incorporated into product development processes.
