Requirements
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • 7+ years of production development experience
  • Expertise in Rust, C++, and/or other system languages
  • Expertise in algorithms and data structures
  • Experience with software development processes like source control, bug tracking, and CI/CD
Responsibilities
  • Define and refine software requirements and design criteria
  • Write concise documentation such as Concept of Operations, Interface Control Documents, and Software Design Documents
  • Architect and deliver core flight software
  • Integrate complex algorithms for vehicle ascent and re-entry, descent and landing
  • Integrate vehicle sensor data and control vehicle equipment
  • Develop telemetry system
  • Support the development and integration of testing infrastructure
  • Build automated tests in CI/CD
  • Maximize team's velocity by defining processes, best practices, integrating modern tools, and mentoring junior engineers
