Requirements
- Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotic, or related field
- Good academic standing with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale

Responsibilities
- Perform engineering design and analysis under general supervision
- Apply knowledge of and the ability to incorporate Design for Excellence (DFx) best practices to optimize product cost, quality, and manufacturing cycle time
- Analyze complex designs to ensure components and assemblies are manufacturable and producible
- Solicit input from suppliers on manufacturability and producibility improvements on designs
- Participate in cross-functional teams to develop manufacturability and assembly-related BKMs
- Design or modify mechanical engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of moderate scope under general supervision
- Perform and document engineering tests under general supervision
- Generate related documentation, model and drawing for product release under general supervision
- Coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve moderately complex technical issues
- Troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of moderate difficulty under general supervision
- Implement concepts of moderate product issues and mechanical solutions of moderate difficulty
- May be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle
