  • Ensures all information provided to agents is correct and timely, minimizing errors.

  • Can clearly convey information to agents, team members, and leadership, both verbally and in writing.
  • Associate’s degree and 3-5 years of sales or customer service-related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Iowa health insurance license or ability to obtain within 60 days.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with computer programs and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate in an often fast-paced environment involving hard deadlines and a need for timely and accurate responses.
Responsibilities
  • Be knowledgeable in all group health and ancillary product lines offered through PIPAC, including plan designs as well as sales, enrollment, and customer service processes.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with agents and carriers.
  • Recommend and educate agents on employee group benefits for their customers.
  • Understand and promote agent quoting and enrollment tools.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for department processes and utilization of resources.
  • Handle inbound and outbound agent and carrier communication related to various sales and service aspects of the employer group health insurance market.
