  • 5 + years of demonstrated experience working as an Equity Analyst in either sell-side or buy-side equity research.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal). Mandarin fluency is a plus.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-moving, high-pressure, and competitive environment.
  • A demonstrated passion and understanding of financial markets are required.
  • Comfort working with incomplete information, utilizing quantitative information as available but able supplement with qualitative insight.
  • Tertiary qualified. CFA is a plus.
  • Bloomberg and Python experience preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Share responsibility for covering a universe of approximately 100 large- and mid-cap stocks listed in Hong Kong.
  • Perform fundamental bottom-up analysis on covered stocks and their peers, focusing on dividends, earnings, macro and corporate events, corporate actions, and special situations.
  • Generate trading ideas based on expected volatility and direction. Work closely with the options trading team to execute these strategies.
  • Identify, monitor, and evaluate upcoming catalysts.
  • Monitor and analyse daily news flow related to your coverage, including corporate, industry, regulatory, and macroeconomic developments, and communicate actionable trading ideas.

  • Derivatives and/or structured products experience is advantageous.

Cap Labs raises $8M for stablecoin infrastructure
