Requirements
  • Experience formulating and solving optimization problems
  • MS or PhD in mathematics, operations research, physics, computer science, industrial engineering or related field.
  • Programming experience in Python and/or R, version control (Git), and database (SQL, MySQL) and common data science libraries (e.g. Pandas, Numpy)
  • Knowledge and experience with statistics and data science
  • At least 5 years of experience using analysis to solve complex problems
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance, or willingness to obtain Clearance
  • Willing to temporarily relocate to (or already reside in) Omaha, NE
  • If relocating, Defcon will provide a comprehensive relocation package
Responsibilities
  • As an Operations Research Scientist, you will be at the forefront of driving the development and deployment of our latest optimization, simulation, and data science models to production.
Desired Qualifications
  • Practical experience applying AI/ML techniques
  • Basic data engineering skills (data cleaning, building ETL pipelines, and/or database administration)
  • Cloud-based development (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc) and deployment (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • TS/SCI Clearance

Red Cell Partners has appointed Sean O'Keefe as Deputy Chief Technology Officer.
