Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in technical project management, with a proven track record of managing complex, large-scale projects, particularly in digital or e-commerce environments.
  • Understanding of web development technologies, including JavaScript, React, Java, Node.js, and .NET Core.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Proficiency with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Trello.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field
Responsibilities
  • Understanding of AdTech and Digital Marketing
  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of technical projects, including defining project scope, objectives, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, monitoring project progress to ensure adherence to established milestones and deadlines.
  • Identify project risks and issues, proactively developing mitigation strategies and solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Facilitate project status meetings, stand-ups, and retrospectives, providing clear updates to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineering teams, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, dependencies, and ensure alignment.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed, ensuring third-party deliverables align with Macy’s quality and timeline standards.
  • Provide guidance on technical feasibility, potential challenges, and best practices to ensure that projects are technically sound and scalable.
  • Oversee Agile processes and ensure teams are following Scrum methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Drive the adoption of Macy’s technology stack, ensuring that project teams are aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.
  • Track and analyze key project metrics to assess project health and identify areas for improvement, optimizing processes for future projects.
  • Create and present regular project reports, performance metrics, and post-project evaluations to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance productivity, efficiency, and team dynamics.
