Requirements
  • Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in psychology or a closely related field by the anticipated start date of Autumn 2026.
Responsibilities
  • Sustain an active research program, demonstrated through publications in relevant journals and scholarly outlets, as well as efforts to secure external funding
  • Teach and develop undergraduate and graduate-level courses
  • Provide mentorship and academic advising to both undergraduate and graduate students
  • Contribute to the collaborative governance and administrative functions of the department.
Desired Qualifications
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate a publication record commensurate with career stage.
  • The potential to make meaningful contributions to one or more substantive research areas in the Department of Psychology (cognitive psychology, cognitive neuroscience, clinical psychology, decision science, developmental psychology, social psychology, and research focused on intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)).
  • A commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
