We are currently looking for a Total Customer Satisfaction Intern to join our team in Smyrna, TN.
A Day in the Life:
- Identify and investigate engineering issues potentially impacting safety and/or regulatory compliance by analyzing cross functional data sources with Product Safety, Technical Compliance, and Field Quality Investigations.
- Investigate incidents with data analysis, part collection and testing, or vehicle-level incident investigation (on-site or scramble to customer location).
- Support handover of complete investigations to the Vital Issues team for TM/TC process
- Report investigation status weekly to FQA management.
- Regular collaboration with cross functional groups for issue investigation including but not limited to R&D, FQI, PQE, NML, CQ0 and CC0.
- Up to 20% local travel
Who We’re Looking for:
- Currently be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in automotive, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail
- Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skill sets
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Access, etc
