- Graduate of two years of Radiology Technology training in an American Medical Association-approved school meeting American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registry requirements in Radiology.
- Hold current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists radiography certification and New Hampshire licensure.
- Hold American Registry of Radiologic Technologists magnetic resonance certification or obtain it within one year of hire.
- Have three to five years of direct MRI experience.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and clinical computer applications such as EPIC and PACS.
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain composure and compassion in patient and team interactions.
- Perform comprehensive magnetic resonance imaging examinations, including orthopedic, cardiac, abdominal, lung, and breast scans, according to established protocols.
- Review patient medical information, reconcile physician orders, and complete consents, questionnaires, and other required documentation.
- Ensure high-quality examinations are submitted for radiologist interpretation and complete follow-up paperwork and quality-control records.
- Maintain proficiency with electronic and scheduling systems, including EPIC, PACS, and Life Image, while adhering to HIPAA privacy regulations.
- Assist radiologists with invasive procedures.
- Coordinate training for new personnel.
- Monitor department supplies.
- Initiate equipment service calls when needed.
- Support daily department operations and seamless clinical workflows.
