Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education or training.
  • Proven proficiency and experience in excellent customer service.
  • Information technology skills and the ability to navigate digital systems.
  • Ability to orient clients within the university’s educational infrastructure.
  • Ability to comply with relevant legislation and University policies and procedures, including equity and health and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for Corporate Services support, receiving and responding to enquiries across phone, chat, digital, and in-person channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide professional frontline customer service by handling user enquiries with empathy and clarity, logging them accurately, and resolving or escalating them promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of user requests, cases, incidents, and resolutions in the service management system.
  • Identify opportunities to make processes more efficient and effective.
  • Contribute to capturing knowledge in the Service Management tool and work with subject matter experts to maintain the accuracy and quality of information.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and University policies and procedures, including equity and health and safety requirements.
