Requirements
  • Previous automotive experience of at least 3 years is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the Customer Satisfaction Index rating set by the service manager.
  • Greet customers promptly and courteously and obtain vehicle information.
  • Advise customers about necessary routine maintenance services.
  • Identify mechanical problems by questioning customers, performing visual inspections, or conducting road tests.
  • Schedule vehicle services and repairs and prepare estimates.
  • Discuss inspection results with customers, recommend corrective procedures, and prepare work orders for needed repairs.
  • Prepare repair orders and help customers understand service time, cost, and labor estimates.
  • Advise customers on vehicle care and the value of maintaining vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Implement a quality-control process to eliminate repeat repair visits.
  • Maintain high customer-satisfaction standards while demonstrating professionalism and courtesy.
