  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) certification a plus.
  • 7+ years of electrical engineering experience with a track record of successfully leading engineering projects and teams.
  • Experience in product design, including electrical systems, embedded controls, and/or power distribution systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower and develop engineering teams to exceed performance expectations.
  • Proven track record to manage numerous projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in using computer-aided engineering and design software to develop calculations and models.
  • Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements in electrical engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think strategically, driving decisions that align with business objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to present sophisticated technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor electrical engineers, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and innovation.
  • Manage engineering resources assigned to projects from feasibility to completion, ensuring that all work meets functional, quality, and cost standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align on customer needs, ensuring solutions align with both technical specifications and market demands.
  • Be responsible for project commitments, resource allocation, and budget to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Review and approve product designs for compliance with engineering principles, customer requirements, and industry standards.
  • Analyze product performance data, resolve failures, and provide insights to improve reliability and performance.
  • Champion design excellence by staying ahead of industry trends, technology advancements, and implementing standard processes.
  • Drive process improvements to improve team efficiency, product quality, and innovation.
