Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or physics
  • Software development experience in C, C++, Python, or other modern programming language
  • Strong background in test automation
  • Strong adversarial testing mindset and debugging skills
  • Experience shipping a highly rated consumer product
  • Experience with wireless MAC and networking protocols
  • Experience with embedded systems and security
  • Solid fundamental knowledge of math, physics, RF, and networking
  • Creative approach to problem solving, exceptional analytical skills and engineering fundamentals
  • Proven track record solving difficult engineering problems, and a hunger to dive into complex systems and make them work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be available to work extended hours as needed

Responsibilities
  • Design and build the machine that tests the machine: An automated RF test environment for WiFi mesh performance across the dizzying array of real-world homes, airplanes, and user devices we must support
  • Design and build next-gen automated test infrastructure that enables rapid iteration and joyful debugging
  • Work closely with a tight-knit team of hardware and software engineers to build a revolutionary product at an unprecedented velocity
  • Solve problems across all layers of the stack from RF/PHY to MAC to network
