Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems.
  • Ability to learn the correct use of basic measurement instruments, including tape measures, scales, and gauges.
  • Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to accurately inspect basic material, commodities, and processes.
  • A safety mindset.
  • The position requires working on or around heavy machinery on the warehouse floor.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing is required because the position is safety sensitive.
Responsibilities
  • Accurately inspect raw materials and products visually and with gauges, scales, or other measurement instruments according to work instructions.
  • Segregate non-conforming parts or material.
  • Complete required documentation for work performed.
  • Enter work results into appropriate databases.
  • Perform final inspection to reconcile outgoing shipments as required.
  • Identify causes of non-conformance when required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Some college courses or certificates in a Quality Assurance-related field of study.
  • Prior experience using basic measurement instruments.
  • Prior experience in a quality assurance inspection position.
