Unclaimed Property Coordinator
Regular Full-Time
Hybrid/Remote- Burbank
Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30pm PT
Position Overview
The position is responsible for processing payments to unclaimed property vendors and production employees. This person is the primary point of contact for all vendors and production employees via phone, mail and email, and maintenance of Unclaimed property files. A high-level of knowledge in Accounts Payable and knowledge of unclaimed property is necessary to be successful in this role.
Core Responsibilities
- Daily input of vendor invoices, check requests and unclaimed property requests.
- Daily check runs.
- Reports and reconciliation for unclaimed property.
- Ability to process and maintain a high-volume of documents.
- Maintain good lines of communication between vendors and internal customers.
- Research and resolve vendor issues.
- Review monthly Accounts Payable aging reports.
- Serve as backup to AP staff when needed.
- Maintain Accounts Payable vendor storage files.
- projects and/or other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications
- GED or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of standard Accounts Payable office procedures and policies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping skills.
- Typing and 10-key data entry proficiency required.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Self-motivated, must be able to work independently, goal oriented.
- Schedule must be flexible to accommodate business and client needs.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Accounts Payable highly preferred.
- Relevant work experience in Unclaimed Property, Escheatment.
Special Work Conditions
- Sedentary – Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.
Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
The compensation range for this position is:
$20—$21 USD
