  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts ordinary and customary to the accounting function
  • Attention to accuracy and detail
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite with ability to create, navigate, and use Excel spreadsheets effectively
  • Knowledge and experience with Unclaimed Property Reporting and Quickbooks desired
Responsibilities
  • Record, track, and QA all Payments received in the Tallahassee Office
  • Coordinate the re-processing of all payments sent to lockbox & manage control sheet & tracking
  • Processing and documenting all Payment rejects received in the Tallahassee Office
  • Processing Escheatment DDL notices in accordance with established guidelines
  • Work all Zendesk tickets, validation on policy and in QuickBooks, and initiate the required Stop Pay or Void in Bank
  • Daily and Monthly print and save to file all Carrier Bank Statements in both required formats
  • Pull IX Report daily & monthly, manipulate, print, and save to file the for the Cash Balancing Team
  • Daily and Monthly print and save to file all Carrier One Inc Reports, Stop Pay Reports, Manual Voids from Bank
  • Perform required Outreach functions in support of the Cash Balancing Team assignments
  • Research and advise on returned mail, checks, payments, etc.
  • Support the Cash Balancing Team with data collections, dashboards & maintaining master files
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
